Emergency maintenance includes issues that:
- Pose a risk to health or safety
- Could cause significant damage to the property
- Prevent essential services or utilities from functioning
Examples of emergency issues include:
- Gas leaks
- Burst water pipes
- Electrical faults or power outages (not related to an area-wide issue)
- Fire damage
- Serious roof leaks
- Sewerage overflows
Immediate Steps to Take
- Ensure Safety: For fire, gas, or electrical emergencies, evacuate the property and call emergency services immediately on 000.
- Shut Off Services (If Safe to Do So): Turn off water, gas, or electricity at the mains to prevent further damage.
- Contact Us: Call us on 02 8357 8800 for urgent assistance. For Outside business hours, please refer to your lease agrement for emergency contact tradesmen such as electrician and plumber.
- Provide Details: When contacting us, provide the following information: Your name and contact details, Property address, Description of the issue, and Any steps you’ve taken to mitigate the problem.
